The International Journal of Islamic Civilization and Leadership (IJICL) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal established by Hormuud University. It publishes rigorous scholarship on Islamic civilization, ethical leadership, governance, institutions, knowledge traditions, and contemporary Muslim societies, with particular attention to underrepresented contexts alongside work of global relevance.

Every IJICL article is freely available to read, download, and share immediately upon publication. Authors retain copyright and publish under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, which permits reuse when the authors, article, journal, and license are properly credited.
